Company History

Surplus Advisors Inc. began operations in May of 2002.  Initially we started to validate to one small retailer that he would be better off selling his
slow-moving/dead inventory at today’s market prices rather than holding out for the customer that would pay him at least “what I paid for it.”
Our premise was that the retailer would be able to take the proceeds from a sale at today’s market prices, regardless of what he had paid for the
item, and reinvest that money into inventory with a much faster turnover.  The retailer felt he would be better off waiting and not selling the item
for a “loss.”

We ran our preliminary market tests, analyzed it with a number of financial metrics and the end result was the creation of Surplus Advisors!

In June of 2003, Surplus Advisors was introduced to the Intellimarket™ Systems of  William R. Stevenson & Associates.  Immediately the
applications for their technology were clear for use in asset recovery.  Since that time, Surplus Advisors and William R. Stevenson & Associates
have formed a strategic alliance to provide manufacturers and retailers with a complete asset recovery package that cannot be matched by any of
our competitors.

In November 2003, Surplus Advisors started it's
TradeInWatches.com subsidiary with one retailer as a client.  TradeInWatches.com offers
consumers the ability to trade in their used wristwatch towards a new watch at any authorized retailer or for Certified Pre-Owned luxury
wristwatches from
TradeInWatches.com.  As of August 2004, TradeInWatches.com had45 retail doors for clients.
