for a Manufacturer and one of their Retailers
Problem:
A manufacturer discontinued a division with over 3700 pieces of remaining inventory. This product had severely missed its target market and the
manufacturer was unable to sell its remaining pieces through its traditional distribution or liquidation channels. The manufacturer wanted to
cash-out of their position as soon as possible and completely remove the division from their balance sheet.
Solution:
We used our Purchase Program to make a complete "take-all" purchase of the merchandise from the manufacturer.
Result:
Our "take-all" purchase of the merchandise enabled the manufacturer to have a clean removal of the divison from its books. We re-branded the
products in a new marketplace and became the ax in the brand. Through our involvement with the manufacturer, we were made aware of a
retailer with an additional 1000 pieces that the retailer needed to liquidate. We purchased the additional 1000 pieces from the retailer providing
them immediate cashflow.
